Chapin Family & Friends Plan Concert in NYC
To Benefit WHY’s 30th Anniversary

On the heels of the recent annual Chapin Family Fair (see photo galleries courtesy of Scott Sivakoff here and here), plans are underway for a special “Harry Chapin: A Celebration in Song” concert in New York City to benefit WHY (World Hunger Year) on its 30th anniversary.

Tom, Steve and Jen Chapin, The Chapin Sisters, John Wallace, Howard Fields and several other Chapin family members and friends, are scheduled perform in the concert on Sunday, December 11th at the new Hard Rock Café, located in Times Square in New York City. Ticket prices and on-sale date for the concert in this intimate venue will be announced soon, according to WHY.

Proceeds from the concert will help WHY, which was co-founded by Harry Chapin and Bill Ayres, continue its work to fight hunger in the U.S. and around the world.

To learn more and to be automatically alerted to concert details when they are available, send an email to chapinconcert@aol.com or call (914) 834-3391.
