Brian, Pcash and all: I sure wish one of us had thought of "My Old Lady" a couple of weeks ago when we were discussing "Better Place" and "Easy," as it fits right in with those songs where Harry focuses on the double-standard. "Old lady" would be his wife or at least his significant other. He refers to himself as "a chauvinist stud with his mistress..." and says, "I've been Casanova...double-dated with Don Juan." Pretty clear about his extra-marital activities. He didn't think she had any idea about this, but now he has to confront both the fact that she knows and has turned around and done the very same thing to him. He's "befuddled" and "forced into being fair." The devil is laughing because this sinner thought he could do as he liked without paying a price for it. Linda
