Hard Rock Café Serves Up Benefit CD to Fight Hunger The Hard Rock Café recently launched Serve, a compilation CD featuring 12 rare or unreleased tracks from an array of popular artists including Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, The Strokes, Lenny Kravitz, Darryl DMC McDaniels (featuring Sarah McLachlan) and more. Each of these artists support WHYs Artists Against Hunger & Poverty program, which enlists performing artists to help raise funds and awareness for the most innovative and effective community-based organizations working to combat hunger and poverty. The songs on Serve are either new or classic, studio or live, electric or acoustic, but in some sense explicitly or implicitly resonate with the common idea of serving others. Net profits from the sale of Serve will benefit WHY. Serve is available in Hard Rock Cafe Rock Shops and online at Hardrock.com. For a track listing and additional details, visit http://www.hardrock.com/promo/serve/. The Hard Rock Cafe has been a long-time supporter of WHYs work, including the ongoing sales of Bruce Springsteen tee-shirts, which have already raised more than $500,000 to help WHY fight hunger. You can order the shirt at http://www.hardrock.com/promo/Springsteen/default.asp. Watch for the Next Issue of Circle! on September 7 |
