What does the background music in a movie "mean," exactly? It means something, since the experience of the movie would often be very different without it. But you could never say _exactly_ what it means. The second bridge in "Taxi" is like that. It has an atmospheric effect, setting a tone. The words mean just what they say, it's just that the connection to the rest of the story is as a somewhat dream-like, deep-level commentary. Then we drop back into reality. Keith
