I always assumed he had cheated on his wife/girlfriend and that he was now stuck eating his heart out over it. It doesn't matter which. The old saying, "What's good for the goose is good for the gander" comes to mind. He is faced with having to accept that he is going to have deal with her having a purely sexual liason with another man. The old, "Honey she doesn't mean a thing to me." is what he is having a hard time with. My guess is he is miserable because of her affair and the blow dryer in the tub would be an interesting developement. ;-) Bill
