Doing Something

Circle! salutes the following individuals, who, in the spirit of Harry Chapin’s legacy, are “doing something” to make a difference. If you or someone you know is “doing something” to make a difference, we’d love to hear about it! Please drop us a line at circleteam@hotmail.com

From the time Jason Colannino met Harry Chapin as a youngster, he was hooked. On the 25th anniversary of Harry's passing, Colannino and fellow musicians in Florida performed "Singing For Their Supper," a benefit tribute concert, with proceeds going to WHY (World Hunger Year). For several years, Maryland resident Scott Sivakoff has performed free on-line Chapin music concerts on Sunday evenings (see http://www.chapinmusic.com/online_concerts.html). This year, with the event marketing skills of fellow Chapin fan Mike Cirba, Sivakoff performed a series of four benefit concerts in Pennsylvania, all to benefit WHY.
