Choosing to Matter

Dear Readers:

It's hard to believe we've already passed the one-year anniversary of Circle! In that time, we've had the opportunity to meet, learn about, and work with some really good people who have done some amazing things. Some of those people have made their contributions within a grassroots group or other organization, and others have created their own path of social action.

All of them, like Harry, have made a conscious decision to make a difference.

One of those people, Linda McCarty, has been a volunteer with Circle! since before our first issue. Linda helped us to develop the vision and mission statement for the newsletter. She's been a driving force behind our editorial focus and she's researched and written many of the key stories we've presented.

She is a fountain of creative ideas, a dedicated and talented writer, a diligent editor, and a good friend.

Now, having helped us to establish the path forward for Circle!, Linda has decided to focus her time and energy on some other projects. We'll miss her and all the gifts she brought to this project, but we know she'll continue to find ways to make a difference and inspire others.

Linda, thank you for your support and commitment, best of luck with your new endeavors, and know the Circle is always open.

Sincerely,

Bill, Mike, and John
